By June, the garden no longer hesitates. Color begins to speak in a more confident voice—lush, layered, and fully expressive. This palette is an analogous study in coral, scarlet, and pink, where tones move seamlessly into one another like heat rising from sun-warmed soil.
Scarlet red nasturtium leads with a bold, trailing energy, spilling through edges with unapologetic vibrancy. Heuchera foliage and flowers ground the composition, offering both depth and softness, their tones shifting between dusky peach and illuminated blush depending on light.
Tangerine honeysuckle weaves upward, threading warmth through structure and attracting movement. Cool pink Geranium ‘Biokovo’ flowers temper the intensity, creating moments of pause within the composition, while fragrant monarda adds both texture and sensory richness—its presence felt as much as seen.
Deep scarlet weigela anchors the palette with weight and structure, holding space as the composition builds around it. Meanwhile, fuchsia spiraea punctuate the scene in smaller, deliberate bursts.
Together, these tones create a living gradient of heat and softness, where color is not static but in constant conversation. June is not an arrival—it is an immersion.
